Of drinking in the woods.

I woke up at 4:30AM this morning. After getting four hours of sleep. You know, just for kicks. High kicks. No, no--roundhouse kicks. Those ones are Chuck Norris bad ass. I actually can't kick my leg that high in the air, though.

Also, I didn't just wake up for kicks. Or punches either. It was for a photo shoot. I know what you are thinking: it is kind of hard to shoot in the dark.

You are correct in this thinking. But I didn't shoot in the dark. That would be silly. I just had to wake up incredibly early to get ready for this shoot.

Remember Ana? The amazing actress who runs The Diamond Life blog that I shot a few months ago? I will hyperlink this sentence to jog your memory. We are working together on something super awesome and decided to do a photo shoot in the woods this morning.

We wanted morning dew and a bit of fog and the woods. In order to achieve this, we had to be ready to go before sunrise. Luckily it is October and the sun isn't rising until 7:20AM. That's still ridiculously early, but at least it's not a July sunrise of 5:40AM.

Gross.

You know what's not gross? Taking pretty pictures in the woods!

Ana even talked me into posing for some pictures. Stay tuned for that magic, dudes.

All in all, it was a great morning full of paint pigment and chandeliers and black lace and other sorts of awesomeness.

When I got home, I passed out from exhaustion and slept for three hours. Apparently the mother even stood in my room calling my name and I didn't wake up. When I did wake up, gobble-gobble dins were  magically waiting for me, as well as this illuminating conversation with brother:

"Yo, did you drink one of those Palm Bay spritzer that was in the fridge?"

"Yup! It was super tasty. I was so thirsty after my photo shoot I slammed it back."

"Yeah. That was alcoholic."

Eyup. Turns out I was recklessly drinking in the woods around 10AM. There were families about too. And dogs!

I've never actually drank in the woods before, so I guess I was living out some of my missed teenage experiences. I hear that drinking Palm Bays in the woods very early in the morning is a gateway drinking activity. Soon I'll be downing Smirnoff Ices under bridges, or Mike's Hard Lemonades behind schools. Watch out.

PS-- yeah, I totally had to do a Google search for the names of those alcoholic beverages.
